Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hope for a fantastic clash on Sunday against city rivals Manchester City.
The two Manchester clubs have been displaying some sterling performances in recent matches and the Norwegian manager hopes both clubs will translate their respective forms on the pitch and provide a classic on Sunday.
Solskjaer said: “They will feel confident. They have hit form, they are playing well. They have just been to the Bernabeu, winning there as well, and won the cup final.
“So I am sure they will play their game, we will play our game, and hopefully it will be a good one.
“Let’s hope it will be a 4-3, like we have seen before.
“There have been many classics. We will do what we can to make it a classic.”
The ‘red devils’ are now unbeaten in nine games in all competitions following their 3-0 FA cup triumph over championship side Derby County and will be hoping to boost their prospect of qualifying for next seasons Champions League with a win.
The ‘citizens’ on the other hand have been in some explosive form, defeating Real Madrid 2-1 away from home, winning the Carabao cup and progressing in the FA cup of their own.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United have already met three times with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City this season, with the Norwegian winning two and losing one.
