The 3rd edition of the just ended Ignite Accra officially curtained down on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Silverbird Cinemas, Accra Mall.
The event which is powered by BEKOFI was themed ‘Genius Awakening’ because it is believed that everyone is a genius and we all need a little push to bring out our best moments. That’s what this event sought to achieve.
Each presenter had a maximum of 5minutes to share their 20-slide ideas to the audience. The motive behind this was for them to ‘educate us, but make it quick’.
We had Nana Yaa, a media mogul, as one of the presenters who talked about the power of the media and how to use it to bring a change or make a big impact in the society.
And of course, I couldn’t leave Rhyme Sonnie’s poetic self out. This man has always got something new under his sleeve and everyone couldn’t resist writing up some lines from the poems he came to deliver.
Another next up act that spiced up the event much better was Lor, the musician. She was given the mandate to share her new release ‘Grateful’ with the audience and surprisingly, everyone was awed by her amazing performance.
BEKOFI, the brain behind this event, promised its audience of fun-filled sessions during the event and I noticed it indeed kept its promise. Questions & Answers, networking and photoshoot sessions were all highly encouraged.
This helped the audience to be able to exchange contacts and have one on one conversations with their mentors during and after the program.
