Liverpool star, Sadio Mane is valued at more than £130million should Spain giants, Real Madrid decide to swoop for the in-form forward this summer.
Toni Kroos, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric are all reported to be moving from the Bernabeu in what seems like a massive revamp at the Spain giants, and Mane, alongside Eden Hazard and Paul Pogba, has been identified as a crucial target.
The former Red Bull Salzburg and Southampton attacker has been ravishing in Jurgen Klopp’s much preferred three-man forward line, along with Salah and Firmino; but with his current deal lasting until 2023, Real Madrid would have to dig deep into their finances to secure his services.
Real boss, Zinedine Zidane is believed to have been a long time admirer of Mane, with reports indicating that the Frenchman developed an interest in the Senegal captain following his performance in the Champions League final against his then Real Madrid side.
His shock resignation last summer however meant that Real did not pursue the prolific 27-year-old, who has banged in 21 goals in his 42 games this season- a haul Zidane is impressed with, and badly needs in his current setup.
With Liverpool most unlikely to sell one of their most instrumental assets for cheap, Spanish outlet, El Confidencial, reports that Mane would be a ‘luxury’ signing for Real, and his price tag is expected to be monstrous.
Having already signed Porto defender, Éder Militão for a reported fee of €50m, Madrid are looking to free up some space on their wage bill by offloading some of their big-name players in order to make way for Sadio Mane and their other potentially expensive targets..
