Andre Ayew angered Fenerbahce supporters on Wednesday with his tweet which praised axed Dutchman, Philip Cocu, as a ‘great coach’.
Cocu was dismissed from the club after collecting just nine points since the start of the season, leaving the Turkish heavyweights in a lowly fifteenth position after 10 match days.
As Fenerbahce fans are already frustrated by the dire situation the 48-year-old has plunged the club into, Andre Ayew did himself no favors by publicly extolling him and drew some really ferocious condemnations from his followers. While some believed Ayew was sulking over Cocu’s sack because the coach was never courageous to drop him though he was not good enough on the pitch, others bluntly told the 28-year-old to follow suit and leave the club.
The Ghanaian attacker, who is playing on a season-long loan deal from English Championship side Swansea, ended up getting bashed for his own performances at the club, with some calling him the worst ever player to play for their outfit.
Ayew’s two goals return for the club since joining the obviously does not sit well with Fenerbahce fans, and the following reactions to his post indicate how they feel about him.
