English singer and song writer, Adele, has again been crowned the richest British celebrity aged 30 and under, having toppled One Direction off the top spot in 2016.
Claiming top spot for the third consecutive year, the 30-year-old Hello singer’s estimated worth shot up from £132million to £147.5million, according to Heat magazine’s 2018 Rich List.
In 2017, Adele raked in £9million from record sales alone, while her tour last summer earned her a jaw dropping £42million.
Ed Sheeran placed second this time around after being ranked third in 2017. Ticket sales from his £225million-grossing two-year world tour appear to have done wonders for the 27-year old singer.
Also, with Ed’s third album still recording sales even after six million copies bought already, he shoved Harry Potter actor, Daniel Radcliffe down the log with his money-count rocketing from £52million in 2017 to £94million.
With a staggering £87million amassed during his 10 years playing a young wizard in Harry Potter, 29-year-old Daniel Radcliffe ranked third.
Harry Styles, 24, is fourth with £58million, while actress, Emma Watson’s estimated fortune of £55million puts her in fifth place.
The 28-year-old bagged £2million upfront just for being in Beauty and the Beast, plus a share of the profits believed to be £10million.
Little Mix zoomed up from tenth to sixth place this year with their concerts alone grossing up to £31million. And aside endorsements, ranging from COLAB Dry Shampoo to Little Mix fashion dolls, their album, Glory Days was one of the year’s biggest-selling albums in 2017.
Niall Horan, 25, with £46million, Louis Tomlinson, 26, with £44milion, Liam Payne, 25, with £43million and 25-year-old Zayn Malik, with £37million came in at seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth places respectively.
