Just like WhatsApp, the Android Messages app which is used for sending text messages on Android devices, is now available on computers. A new Android update by Google now makes it possible to send messages to your phone’s contacts from your desktop or laptop.
The procedure is just like using WhatsApp Web.
With the most recent version of Android, Android users can now go to the Android messages website https://messages.android.com with their computer and use their smartphone to scan the QR code through the messaging app.
The web version will support the sending of plain text as well as images and stickers.
Unfortunately, just like using WhatsApp Web, the smartphone needs to be connected to the internet for the web service to work. Google’s recommendation is to have your phone connected to WiFi and save your mobile data.
Android messages supports the Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari browsers.
